Kavita Oberoi chosen to join exclusive UK trade Delegation to Mumbai hosted by the British High Commission

In January this year Kavita joined a Women's UK delegation to Mumbai to strengthen business ties across the two nations. The packed Programme included visits to a number of charities and Corporates in India including the TATA group.

Kavita found the charity visits incredibly inspiring - the dedication of the founders of the charities was selfless as was the philanthropy. As a result Oberoi now donates monies to the Mumbai.Happy Home for the Blind to feed all 200 children on every Birthday of an Oberoi employee.

The British High Commission were also able to gain back door access for the delegation to the world famous Yash Raj Bollywood studios meeting both Yash Raj Chopra, the founder of the studios, and India's leading actor - Sharukh Khan.

The finale was an invitation to the event of year - Businessman of the Year Awards. This was attended by over 1000 top movers and shakers across the Globe. This was truly inspirational evening learning about the phenomenal growth of these companies and Indian business growth in the last 10 years and the secrets of their successes.

The trip gained media coverage across India and the UK in various publications and a number of business opportunities for all delegates.
