Oberoi's Pride Park anniversary event

OBEROI CONSULTING held a superb Marquee Event on the evening of August 13th to celebrate their first year in the new Oberoi Head Office on Pride Park in Derby, and to mark another very successful business year. The evening was held as a charity event on behalf of the Special Care Baby Unit of Derby Hospital.

The charity was generously supported by donations, a raffle and a fun charity auction. Over £2500 was raised for the Intensive Care Baby Unit. The guests, including friends and acquaintances from the pharma industry and GP practices, were greeted with a champagne reception and wined and dined on Indian cuisine. Dr John Cannon, a Senior GP from the Ixworth practice, recited his ‘Ode to Kavita’ during his very complimentary speech. There followed spectacular displays by two internationally acclaimed acts: Honey Kalaria and the Bollywood Diva dancers and the UK Under 21 Salsa Dancing Champions. The ‘Bollywood Evening’ continued with guests receiving instruction in Indian dancing, which culminated in a very energetic disco party.

With continued business growth, Oberoi are looking forward to making this an annual event.
