Oberoi’s opportunities for pharma clients |

Oberoi Consulting has begun working directly with PCTs on a number of programmes in a move that provides partnership opportunities for its current pharmaceutical clients. The company, whose portfolio of value added services and solutions for healthcare professionals continues to grow, is helping practices to cope with the increasing amount of change within the NHS. An example of this is Oberoi’s training programme on the Maclean McNicholl accountancy software, which is fast becoming the package of choice for primary care. “GP practices increasingly need to operate as efficient businesses, especially in rural dispensing areas now under the new VAT payment scheme. The effective use of tools such as Maclean McNicholl will be critical to their financial planning and success,” says Managing Director Kavita Oberoi. Oberoi is already working on providing training on Maclean McNicholl in partnership with Broadland, Norwich and Southern Norfolk PCTs, and hopes to hold courses across the UK. The use of the software is widespread, but most practices admit that they only use a fraction of the functionality it can provide. The hands-on, interactive training will aim to give complete knowledge and confidence in all aspects of its use. |
