Read Code Training

All of our IT training consultants are conversant with a wide range of clinical systems and Read codes. Our trainers can deliver Read code Training in both 5 Byte and CTV 3.

Upon completion of our workshops delegates will be able to use Read codes in their roles as Healthcare professions to:

• record data in the consultations
• add recalls and diary dates
• add referrals
• check test results and add diagnoses
• check and amend system templates and/or guidelines to ensure compatibility with QoF
• validate disease registers using QoF codes
• add exception reporting codes appropriately

In addition delegates will be able to carry out searching and reporting to identify gaps to improve healthcare.

The Read code training will enable delegates to utilise the hierarchy and breakdown of Read codes in their day to day roles and understand the importance of accurate data in the management of healthcare.
